Organizing ------ With Canning Jars

Canning jars are useful for storage in the pantry, the craftroom and many other places. You can use pretty vintage blue ones or buy a box of new canning jars.

I store my buttons in my vintage blue canning jars in my craftroom.

They are very economical and can even be free.
Things like mayonaise and pasta sauce come in canning jars. Just wash them out well and recycle them for storage.
These large jars are holding small pieces of fabric.  They look so pretty all together.

If you will be using your jars for more than one type of item,  cut yourself some labels from chalkboard contact paper.

Here are just a couple of  free printable jar labels.   There are many more out there on the internet.

These are from I-Do-It-Yourself blog.

Tuesday Tutorial - Make Your Own Easter Basket

I'm sharing some really cute Easter basket tutorials today.

The first one I found is from www.scrapbookandcardstodaymag.typepad.com It's hard to believe it's made from paper.

I love the springy colors in this fabric basket. Complete instructions on how it's made can be found at...

This next one is adorable and could be used for other things as well as easter. Find out how it's made at www.nanacompany.typepad.com

This last one is great! It's made from a recycled wool sweater. Find the instructions at www.resweater.blogspot.com

Hope you're inspired!
